IT Systems Administrator - AutoPartSource, LLC ($65K)
Full job description
We are looking for a System Administrator to maintain, upgrade and manage our software, hardware and networks. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You must have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users. You must be able to treat the people you support in such a way that they feel valued and do not avoid calling you. Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently. You should be a technical generalist who takes the initiative to learn specific subjects in depth when the need arises.
We have several branch offices and manufacturing facilities. The size of our workstation fleet is about 200, Win10 machines.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure software and hardware (desktop, server, network)
- Purchase/build/deploy Win10 workstations (average 1 per week)
- Create/manage users in Active directory
- Manage network servers (VM and physical)
- Set up accounts and workstations
- Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
- Troubleshoot issues and outages
- Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
- Upgrade systems
- Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
- Maintain technical documentation
Skills
- 3 years experience with Windows Active Directory administration
- 5 years experience building windows workstations
- 1 year experience Azure
- 1 year experience with VM creation and management
- Ability to create scripts in PowerShell, Bash, etc
- Some experience with Linux/BSD (LAMP, SAMBA, FreeNAS, PFSense)
- Some experience with PBX
- Some experience IMB power 8
- BS degree (in any field)
